Captain Jason started Myrtle Beach Sport Fishing because the South Carolina coast deserved a charter operation that took the work seriously – the boats, the gear, the safety, the people on board. We run from inshore patch reefs at four hours to fourteen hours blue-water trolling in the Gulf Stream – and everything in between.

Jason took 10 of us out on two boats on an epic fishing trip! I told him my father who is 74 had never been fishing on the Atlantic and most of my brothers had never salt water fished. Jason took us to a "special spot" and we started filling up the cooler. I know not every trip can end up like this but we had a perfect day. Even the sunrise out of Murrell's Inlet was amazing.
My wife and I went out on a full day trip of bottom fishing with Csptain Jason. We caught fish in every place we stopped. Jason and Will were on top of everything and kept us reeling in fish all day. Everything about the trip was great and the equipment was top notch! Probably the best fishing trip we've been on and we've been on a few. Brought back a cooler full of fish! Already looking forward to going back out again! I highly recommend these guys!

No. Our charter license covers everyone on board. You just have to show up!
All licenses, rods, reels, bait, ice, and fish cleaning. You bring good, drinks, sun protection, and motion-sickness pills, if you think they are needed.
Yes - especially the 4-hour reef & wreck and the 6-hour offshore. Captain Jason and crew run plenty of family trips and will rig and bait for new anglers.
